So An Angel of Glass is complete. Sort of. It still requires a little polishing here and there, but I feel that it can be left on the backburner over Christmas. I'll look at it again with fresh eyes in the New Year, then think about trying to find an agent. Again.

It's a monster of a novel - by far the longest thing I've ever written. It clocks in at over 200,000 words, which works out at about 840 novel-sized pages (!). It's probably too long for a first novel, truth be told, but I can't see any way to cut or divide it, so it's stuck at that length. Never mind.

On the plus side, I have a really good idea for my next project. One that WILL remain at a reasonable length, even if I have to kick the living daylights out of it. Tomorrow, I think, will be spent in a coffee shop brainstorming plot points for it.
